Relocation is not provided and travel is required for day trips only

Job Skills/Requirements
Under general supervision, provides clinical services to assigned client populations, including administration of a variety of therapy techniques and programs, and develops and coordinates clinical programs.

Master's degree in Social Work and licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW). Compliance with Kentuckys board of social work laws and regulations regarding clinical practices. Advanced knowledge of mental and physical characteristics of applicable population (e.g., growth and development and range of treatment needed), psychotherapy, human behavior, and related issues and community resources and SCS services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Potential to undertake supervisory/ leadership responsibilities. Ability to handle case load with varying levels of client disability and need. Thorough knowledge of SCS policy and procedure. Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites. Four to six years direct social work experience, including four years post-master's clinical social work.

Searching for a clinician with 2+ years’ experience in mental health and deafness with administrative skills. Work in a large community mental health center providing individual, family, and group services to a wide range of people who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened, Deaf-Blind or Deaf at Risk (Low Functioning Deaf). Will also offer education, outreach and program development. Coordinate interpreters as needed. May supervise other clinician(s) in program and students at times. Work with interdisciplinary team to provide mental health services and collaborate with agency and community to improve the continuum of care available to this population in a culturally and linguistically affirmative way. Must have master’s degree and KY certification or licensure in your field. American Sign Language fluency and knowledge of Deaf culture required. Must be able to clearly and concisely produce clinical documentation and administrative reports as well as other professional writing. Some local and regional travel required.
