JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as the administrative support and resource person for the SC Educational Interpreting Center. Manages events registration, coordinates travel, manages financial reporting for the grant and assists faculty and program staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

50% - Essential - Administrative Support
Serves as administrative support and resource person for the SC Educational Interpreting Center and resource person for the South Carolina Educational Interpreting Center. Manages event registration, coordinates travel and assists faculty and program staff. Serves as primary contact point at the South Carolina Educational Interpreting Center.

50% - Essential - Fiscal Management
Manages and has fiscal responsibility for Grant funding resources. Compiles receipts, invoices and other documentation to process fiscal transactions. Reconciles monthly reports for expenses and revenue. Compiles reporting information for Grant PI

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education - A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education - Associate's Degree or Higher

Experience - Fluency in American Sign Language is highly preferred, with work experience that is directly related to the area of employment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB KNOWLEDGE
Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Education - Associate's Degree or Higher

Experience - Fluency in American Sign Language is highly preferred, with work experience that is directly related to the area of employment

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Expected Salary Range ($ 31,561.00 - $ 36,000.00)
