freedom. In France he was a musician in the court of King Henry II. In
England, he was a musician in the court of Elizabeth I and King James I. When
he died, he held land in Blackheath (south of the River Thames, 5 miles east
of the London Bridge.) Married before 1565 and they had 6 sons and 4
daughters. He was married to Lucreece before 1565.
